Tonganoxie council takes up $39,760 water meter purchase and Northstar stormwater project
The council's decisions had not been posted Tuesday morning.
TONGANOXIE - The Tonganoxie City Council on Monday, Nov. 2, considered a purchase of about 112 water meters for no more than $39,760, according to the meeting packet.
The meters would come from Olathe Winwater Company at $355 each, a memo from Assistant City Manager Dan Porter says. They would replace aging meters, cover warranty swaps and stock inventory for new development. The cost would come from the city's water capital and operations funds.
The council also took up a request to spend up to $20,000 to move the Northstar Subdivision stormwater project forward, including buying materials and temporary construction easements, the packet shows.
The agenda also listed an executive session with the city attorney. Minutes and video of the meeting had not been posted Tuesday morning, so the council's decisions are not yet on the record.
