Mount Holly voters head to three precinct sites on Election Day Tuesday
Polls are open 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 3; voters must use their assigned polling place
MOUNT HOLLY - Polls for the 2026 general election open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3, according to the N.C. State Board of Elections and the Gaston County Board of Elections calendar. Anyone in line at their assigned polling place at 7:30 p.m. will be allowed to vote, the state board says.
Unlike early voting, which ended Saturday, Election Day voters must go to the polling place for their own precinct. The county's polling list puts the three Mount Holly precincts at these sites:
- Lucia (21A): New Covenant Church Mount Holly, 14514 Lucia Riverbend Highway
- East Mount Holly (22A): Tuckaseegee Community Center, 105 Sports Lane
- West Mount Holly (23A): Cornerstone Family Worship, 709 Rankin Avenue
Voters can confirm their assigned site on the county's polling places page. Voters will be asked to show photo ID when they check in, according to the state board.
The county posts the full list of offices on the 2026 ballot and sample ballots on its 2026 elections page. Registered voters can also view their own sample ballot through the state board's voter search. Under the county calendar, mailed absentee ballots must be returned by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
