School board to hear middle school presentation, act on grades policy Thursday
The consent agenda includes a budget adjustment report and Policy 5126.
LOS ALAMOS - The Los Alamos Public Schools Board will hear a presentation on Los Alamos Middle School and act on a consent agenda that includes Policy 5126 when it meets Thursday, according to the agenda the district posted for the Oct. 22 meeting.
The consent agenda lists a budget adjustment report; Policy 5126, Student Grades and Transcripts, which the agenda lists as reviewed with non-substantive changes; and the draft minutes of the Oct. 13 meeting.
The middle school presentation, by Principal Cardiel and assistant principals Meagan Selis and Colby Holland, is marked discussion only.
The agenda also includes recognition of the Los Alamos High School student liaisons, the superintendent's report and public comment on items not on the agenda.
The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. at Los Alamos Middle School and will be streamed on Zoom, according to the district. Written comments go to public.comments@laschools.net by 3 p.m. Thursday, the meetings page says.
