CHAMPAIGN - The Champaign Park District has opened an outdoor archery range in Dodds Park, 1501 N. Mattis Ave., the district announced Oct. 29. It is the first archery range the district has managed.
The range has a turf shooting line and four targets set at 10, 20, 30 and 40 yards. It is open daily from dawn to dusk, and no reservation is needed. The district said it built the range to meet a need for more archery space in the Champaign-Urbana area.
