Urbana's bagged-leaf pickup starts the week of Nov. 2
Public Works will collect bagged leaves on residents' regular U-Cycle day during three weeks in November and early December.
URBANA - The City of Urbana's fall leaf collection runs three weeks this season: Nov. 2-6, Nov. 16-20 and Nov. 30-Dec. 4, according to an Oct. 28 notice from the Public Works Department.
Only bagged leaves will be picked up, and crews collect them on each household's regular U-Cycle recycling day. The city asks residents to set bags at the street curb the night before their pickup day.
Questions go to Public Works at 706 Glover Ave., 217-384-2342; the front desk is open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. For urgent concerns after hours, the city lists 217-384-2320.
