URBANA - The Champaign County Mental Health Board was scheduled to vote Wednesday, Oct. 21, on proposed revisions to its 2027 budget, which the board packet shows at $7,688,691 in both revenue and expenditures.
The agenda listed four action items, including the budget revisions, which a decision memorandum in the packet (pp. 19-28) describes as changes to the earlier approved budget.
Also on the agenda, for information only, was a proposed modernization plan from Wimbush Consulting LLC (packet pp. 31-58). According to the agenda, pending review by the State's Attorney's Office Civil Division, the Mental Health Board and the Champaign County Developmental Disabilities Board might adopt or modify the plan, or portions of it, to implement over the next two years.
The plan is organized in four six-month phases over 24 months, titled Foundation, Architecture, Capability and Durability. It proposes a board-side sponsor for each phase and states that it carries no cost figures.
The meeting was set for 5:45 p.m. in the Shields-Carter Room of the Bennett Administrative Center, 102 E. Main St., Urbana, and on Zoom, according to the agenda.
