Downtown Urbana streets close Saturday for Fall Fusion festival
Parts of Main and Race streets close from about 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 10.
URBANA - Parts of Main Street and Race Street in downtown Urbana will close Saturday, Oct. 10, for the Urbana Fall Fusion Festival, the city's Public Works Department said.
The closures run from about 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Main Street will be closed from the Main Street-Springfield Avenue split to Broadway Avenue, and Race Street from Elm Street to about one block north of Main Street, the department said. Drivers should expect delays.
The department approved a special event permit application from 40 North/88 West for the festival. Questions about the closures go to Public Works at 217-384-2342.
