Design Review Commission approves 20,000-square-foot industrial building on South Eisenman Road

BOISE CITY — A new 20,000-square-foot industrial building at 6651 S. Eisenman Road won unanimous approval from Boise's Design Review Commission on Oct. 14, according to the city's meeting video.

City staff described the site, file DRH26-00249, as being in the airport planning area west of Interstate 84 and south of Gowen Road. The plan shows 28 parking spaces, access from a shared private drive and metal siding, and staff recommended approval (video, 41:23).

Commissioners spent much of the hearing on whether to require a detached sidewalk, discussing the Ada County Highway District's five-year work plan and a possible variance.

The final motion approved the project with all terms and conditions in the staff report (video, 58:58). Every commissioner voted yes, and the motion carried.
