East Windsor school board to review AI policy recommendations for students and staff

EAST WINDSOR - East Windsor Board of Education members will review policy recommendations on how students and staff use artificial intelligence on Wednesday, Oct. 28, according to a meeting agenda posted on the district's website.

The agenda for the board's policy review meeting lists four recommendations for discussion: Series 4200, on family and medical leave; Series 4355, on staff use of artificial intelligence; Series 5425, on student use of artificial intelligence; and Series 5700, on musical instruments. The agenda does not include the policy text or say when the full board might vote on any of them.

Members are also scheduled to approve minutes from a Jan. 28, 2026, special meeting.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in Room A5 at Broad Brook Elementary School, 14 Rye St. The board's regular meeting follows at 7 p.m. in the same room, according to that meeting's agenda.
