Windsor Locks facilities task force meets today on planning scenarios

WINDSOR LOCKS - Windsor Locks Public Schools' Long-Term Educational and Facilities Planning Task Force meets from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, in the Windsor Locks High School Library Media Center, according to the agenda posted on the district's facilities planning page and the district calendar.

The posted agenda lists a recap and open discussion, a presentation of scenario(s) with discussion, and a vote on scenario(s) for further study. It also schedules scenario study subgroups and a survey discussion. The agenda does not describe the scenarios and lists the next meeting as to be determined.

The Board of Education created the task force to study the district's educational, facility, operational and financial needs, the district's facilities planning page says. September 30 minutes from the group's first meeting are posted on that page; later meeting dates listed there include Nov. 4, Nov. 18, Dec. 2 and Dec. 9.
