Banda singer Jorge Medina plays the San Jose Civic Saturday night
The Mexican regional singer performs at 8 p.m. on Halloween.
Jorge Medina, a singer with more than 28 years in Mexican regional music, performs Saturday, Oct. 31, at 8 p.m. at the San Jose Civic, according to San José Theaters, the city's theater group, and Visit San José, the city's tourism bureau. The Civic is at 135 W. San Carlos St., downtown.
Medina went solo in 2018 and records banda, a brass-heavy style from Sinaloa, Mexico, as well as mariachi, ranchera and cumbia songs. His albums include Así o Más Claro and Tres Vidas.
