NASHVILLE - Lipscomb University will host Music Immersion Day for high school students on Monday, Oct. 12, according to the university's event page.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the McMeen Music Center on the Lipscomb campus. The page says participants spend a day as a School of Music student, touring facilities and attending classes.
The day is aimed at prospective commercial music students and prospective traditional music students. Eligible School of Music applicants may also audition, but the page says that requires advance registration.
Families can register through the link on the event page, which also links to the full schedule. Lipscomb is at One University Park Drive in Nashville.
