Cedar City Board of Adjustments to weigh three home businesses and a Lund Highway corner variance
The Nov. 2 agenda also includes a review of a previously approved home daycare.
CEDAR CITY - The Cedar City Board of Adjustments will consider three requests to run small businesses from homes and a variance at Runway Drive and Lund Highway when it meets Nov. 2, according to the board's posted agenda.
A home occupation permit lets someone run a small business from their residence. Applicants are Teresa Clark Tom, for a beautician business in the 300 block of West 400 North; McKenna Houser of Beauty by Kenna K, for a nail business in the 4500 block of West 250 North; and Heather Tebbs, for Heather Tebbs Music Lessons in the 3200 block of West Cimarron Circle.
Care Free Homes and Carter Wilkey are listed on a request for a sight-triangle variance at Runway Drive and Lund Highway. A sight triangle is the corner area kept clear so drivers can see cross traffic; a variance would allow an exception.
The board will also review a previously approved home daycare, Sunbow Childcare, in the 2100 block of North Cottontail, listed with Dallen Forsyth. The agenda does not give a reason.
The board meets at 5:15 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 10 N. Main St.
