Cedar City posts three Oct. 14 land-use ordinances, including zoning for Westview Drive annexation area
The ordinances took effect Friday when the city posted them on the state notice website.
CEDAR CITY - Three land-use ordinances the Cedar City Council passed on Oct. 14 took effect Friday, when the city posted them on the state's public notice website, according to the notice.
Two of them deal with one property, at 226 N. 3325 West. Ordinance 1014-26 changes the city's General Land Use Plan, its long-range map of how land should be used, for that property from Central Commercial to Business and Light Manufacturing. Ordinance 1014-26-1 rezones the same property from Industrial Manufacturing I&M-2 to I&M-1.
The third, Ordinance 1014-26-2, sets zoning for properties near Westview Drive and South Mountain Drive that had been zoned Annexed Transition. The land now carries a mix of zones: R-1, R-2-1, R-2-2 and R-3-M residential, plus Central Commercial. The notice does not say which zone applies to which parcels.
Copies of the ordinances can be seen or bought at the Cedar City Recorder's office, 10 N. Main St., the notice says.
