Parowan council holds hearings on Daveco and Heritage Hills annexations

PAROWAN - Parowan City Council on Oct. 22 held public hearings on two proposed annexations, according to the council meeting recording.

The first hearing concerned the proposed Daveco LLC annexation of approximately 21.48 acres near 325 North 600 West. The agenda also listed a Heritage Hills Holdings annexation of about 60.41 acres near Charis Road and 950 South. A city speaker said both petitions had been certified and that the evening was for public comment, with a final vote to follow after the council works through an annexation agreement.

Council voted to open and later close the hearings. No final annexation ordinance vote was taken that night. Speakers discussed scheduling a work meeting on the annexation agreements.
