The Albemarle-Charlottesville NAACP holds an online candidate forum for the 5th Congressional District from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, on Zoom.

Democratic nominee Tom Perriello and independent Cooke Harvey are confirmed. Republican incumbent John McGuire was invited but will not attend because of a scheduling conflict, according to the branch's Sept. 23 announcement. The race is on Charlottesville and most Albemarle ballots Nov. 3.
