Michelle's Bridal & Tuxedo named Champaign County Chamber's 2026 Small Business of the Year

CHAMPAIGN - The Champaign County Chamber of Commerce named Michelle's Bridal & Tuxedo its 2026 Small Business of the Year at the Chamber's Annual Meeting at the I Hotel and Conference Center in Champaign, according to a Chamber press release dated Oct. 23 and posted Oct. 26.

The award is in its 35th year; the Chamber said it received ten nominations this year. The release describes the business as locally owned and family-operated for more than 40 years, a Chamber member for more than 40 years, and says it expanded with M2 for prom and special-occasion attire. The release names the owner as Morgan and reports a seven percent sales increase this year.

Chamber President and CEO Laura Weis and board chair Dr. Mila Fuller are quoted in the release. The release does not give the store's street address or a calendar date for the Friday Annual Meeting.
