Urbana permits $1.1 million renovation at 610 N. Lincoln Ave. and a $597,630 roof job on South Broadway

URBANA - The City of Urbana issued permits Nov. 2 for a $934,900 commercial renovation at 610 N. Lincoln Ave. and a $597,630 commercial roof replacement at 300 S. Broadway Ave., according to the city's building-permit open data.

At 610 N. Lincoln, the commercial building permit, for alteration, renovation and remodeling, lists Olympic Construction as the applicant. Davis-Houk Mechanical received a $135,000 mechanical permit and a $72,000 plumbing permit at the same address the same day, bringing the listed estimated costs there to $1,141,900.

At 300 S. Broadway, Sentry Roofing is the applicant on the roof replacement permit. A permit for a new sign at that address was issued Oct. 8.

The permit records do not say what business or project occupies either building. Estimated costs are the figures applicants list on the permits.
