Port Tampa Bay's free public harbor tour on Nov. 13 is nearly full
The two-hour cruise aboard the Yacht Starship requires registration; the port's page showed four spots left Monday morning.
TAMPA - Port Tampa Bay will take the public on a free two-hour harbor cruise on Friday, Nov. 13, according to the port's event page, and only a handful of seats were still open Monday morning. The page showed 294 people signed up and four spots remaining as of 7:14 a.m. ET Nov. 2.
The "Meet the Tenants" tour boards at 9:30 a.m. at the Yacht Starship Dock, 603 Channelside Drive, departs at 10 a.m. and returns at noon, the port says. Guests meet companies that operate at the port and learn how they fit into its business; the port notes some partner groups may offer career opportunities and calls the trip a good fit for high school students.
The Yacht Starship is a 180-foot boat with three decks. Water is provided, and other soft drinks are sold on board by electronic payment only, with no cash accepted.
Registration is required and is done through the event page. Nov. 13 is the last public tour on the port's 2026 schedule; its Oct. 2 tour was canceled.
