Kill Creek Road work is set for Nov. 16; city expects about two to three weeks once crews begin.
DE SOTO - The city’s 2026 mill-and-overlay program is scheduled to begin Tuesday, Nov. 10, according to a News Flash updated Nov. 6 on the City of De Soto website.
Residential work listed for the Nov. 10 start is resurfacing on W. 83rd Street from Penner Avenue to High Street; High Street from W. 83rd Street to W. 82nd Street; and W. 82nd Street from High Street to the end of the street. The largest portion focuses on Kill Creek Road beginning Monday, Nov. 16, from W. 83rd Street to K-10, including pavement repairs, select curb and gutter work, and new pavement striping.
The city says crews will begin with concrete curb removal, then milling and overlay, and that construction is expected to take about two to three weeks once work begins. An interactive project map is linked from the post.
