TDOT schedules overnight interstate lane closures in Davidson County this week
Work on I-24, I-40, I-440 and I-65 runs mostly 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.; schedules can change
NASHVILLE - Drivers on Davidson County interstates should expect overnight lane closures this week, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation's Middle Tennessee lane closure list for Oct. 11-17, dated Oct. 8. Most of the work is scheduled from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
TDOT lists multiple-lane closures in both directions on I-24 between mile markers 32 and 40 and on I-40 between mile markers 208 and 210 through Thursday night for cleanup work. Eastbound I-40 between mile markers 191 and 194 has a single lane closed nightly through Thursday for milling and paving.
Single-lane closures are also listed on I-65 near mile markers 94-95 from Tuesday through Friday nights for light pole base work, along with scattered nights of lighting and drain work on I-24, I-40, I-440 and I-65. The previously reported Hamilton Avenue bridge closure of I-65 also appears on the list for Oct. 16-17.
TDOT says the schedule comes from contractors and that most work depends on the weather and may change. Updates are available at TNSmartWay.com or by calling 511.
