Christ Presbyterian on Old Hickory Boulevard lists Operation Christmas Child shoebox event Oct. 25
The church says it is partnering again with Samaritan's Purse.
NASHVILLE - Christ Presbyterian Church has an event titled "Operation Christmas Child: Shoebox Pick-Up Begins" on its calendar for 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, Oct. 25, at its Old Hickory Boulevard location, 2323 Old Hickory Blvd., according to the church's event page. The church says it is partnering again with Samaritan's Purse on the gift-box program.
In its description, the page says shoeboxes will be available in the coming weeks. It asks people taking part to fill a box with gifts for a child, choosing quality items that will last.
The listing does not describe what happens at the Oct. 25 session, and it does not give a date for returning filled boxes.
