Diocese of Nashville announces free organ recital at Cathedral of the Incarnation Oct. 23
Recital at 7:30 p.m. highlights the cathedral's new organ; no registration needed
NASHVILLE - Jennifer Pascual, principal organist and director of music at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City, will perform a free recital Friday, Oct. 23, at the Cathedral of the Incarnation, according to an Oct. 6 announcement from the Diocese of Nashville.
The diocese's page says the concert starts at 7:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6:45 p.m., and that no registration is needed. The recital is meant to showcase the cathedral's new organ, the announcement states. The cathedral is at 2015 West End Ave.
The page quotes Joey Fala, the cathedral's director of music, as saying he hopes the recital is "the first of many world-class artists" to perform there.
