Canvassing Board meets Friday as Nov. 3 results stay unofficial
Unofficial certification is due by noon Saturday; official results by noon Nov. 16.
MIAMI - Nov. 3 election results for City of Miami questions remain unofficial, according to the Miami-Dade Elections Department results page, which still says counts stay preliminary until provisional ballots and cure affidavits are reviewed and the county Canvassing Board certifies them.
Under the board's published schedule for the Nov. 3 general election, revised Oct. 28 and marked subject to change, the board meets at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at the Supervisor of Elections office, 2700 NW 87th Avenue, to canvass vote-by-mail and provisional ballots and certify unofficial results. That unofficial certification deadline is noon Saturday, Nov. 7.
The same schedule sets a Friday, Nov. 13, 2 p.m. session for overseas ballots and official certification, due by noon Monday, Nov. 16. A recount window, if needed, runs Nov. 7 through Nov. 16. A post-election audit is listed starting Nov. 18. The results page was last updated at 1:15:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4; this item does not refresh City vote totals.
