Shoppers can buy food from local growers and makers, including fruit and vegetables, cheese, honey, jams, butter, ungraded eggs, cider, baked goods, meat, herbs, seeds, and plants, along with handmade body products. Cash, most major credit cards, EBT, and Double Up Food Bucks are accepted. Admission is free.
The Wednesday evening markets run through October. Los Alamos MainStreet and Creative District, the county, and Los Alamos Farmers Markets present them, and Cindy Talamantes is the market manager. A separate Thursday morning market meets at Ashley Pond Park in Los Alamos.
