Army War College dean to speak on Air Force and nuclear weapons at Historical Society lecture

LOS ALAMOS - Dr. Edward Kaplan, dean of the Army War College, will give the Los Alamos Historical Society's November lecture, "Square Pegs into Round Holes: The Air Force and Nuclear Weapons in Limited War, 1950-1960," from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, in the Pajarito Room at Fuller Lodge, according to the Society's lecture series page.

A book signing will follow the talk, according to the Society's event graphic. It is the last of three talks on the Society's fall 2026 lecture schedule, after author Roslyn Franken in September and Gary Powers Jr. in October. Enterprise Bank and Trust sponsors the 2026-2027 series.
