White Rock library offers free smartphone photo editing workshop Thursday

WHITE ROCK - The White Rock Branch Library, 10 Sherwood Boulevard, will host a free smartphone photo editing workshop from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, according to the Los Alamos County Library System's events calendar.

The program, Discover! Smartphone Photography 201 Editing, is the third in the library's smartphone photography series and is led by Los Alamos County Assistant Public Information Officer Leslie Bucklin, the calendar says.

The session covers photography best practices, a critique of participants' unedited photos and a walk-through of editing tools. Participants may share two unedited photos and should bring their own smartphone; any model works, and the earlier 101 class is not required.

The workshop is open to adults and teens at beginner to intermediate levels. Registration through the library is required, and the class is limited to 15 participants.
