Pumpkin Splash set for Oct. 24 at the county Aquatic Center

LOS ALAMOS - The Los Alamos County Aquatic Center, 2760 Canyon Road, will hold its Pumpkin Splash from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, according to the event listing from Discover Los Alamos.

The morning opens with a Halloween carnival at 9 a.m. Diving for pumpkins begins at 10 a.m., organized by age group, followed by open swim until 11:30 a.m., the listing says.

The cost is $7 per person, per pumpkin, in advance and $9 per person, per pumpkin, on the day of the event. Participation is limited to 150 people.
