NMDOT asks riders to weigh in on Park & Ride, including Los Alamos routes

The online survey closes at noon Oct. 30.

SANTA FE - The New Mexico Department of Transportation is asking people to take an online survey on the future of its Park & Ride commuter buses, which include several routes into Los Alamos.

The survey is open to current riders, former riders and people who have never used the service, NMDOT said in an Oct. 20 release. The department said the input will help make Park & Ride more responsive to the communities it serves. It closes Friday, Oct. 30, at noon, at dot.nm.gov/pandr-survey.

NMDOT's route page lists the Blue Route from Santa Fe through Pojoaque to Los Alamos, the Green Route from Española to Los Alamos and the Purple Route from Santa Fe to Los Alamos.

One-way fares listed on the page are $2 from Española to Los Alamos, $3 from Santa Fe to Los Alamos and $6 from Albuquerque to Los Alamos. Monthly passes are $60 on the Española route and $90 on the Santa Fe route. Fares are cash only with exact change, or cashless through the Token Transit app.
