Eastbound NM 502 closes near Anderson Overlook Tuesday morning
A state crew will clear loose material starting about 9 a.m. East Jemez Road is the detour.
A New Mexico Department of Transportation maintenance crew will close the eastbound, downhill lane of NM 502 near Anderson Overlook starting about 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, Los Alamos County said Monday.
The work is shoulder maintenance: removing loose material and debris. The county notice says drivers should expect delays and can use East Jemez Road to go around the closure. Questions go to the NMDOT District 5 office at (505) 795-0533.
