CLEVELAND COUNTY - A Polco Community Livability Snapshot for Cleveland County, Oklahoma, last updated October 2026, lists Safety and Natural Environment as needing attention, according to Track dashboard charts provided by the editor.
The snapshot plots 10 livability domains on a quality-importance matrix from Predicted Resident Sentiment and GPAL data. On track: Health and Wellness; Economy; Housing and Community Design; Utilities; Parks and Recreation; and Education, Arts and Culture. Community Connection and Mobility are marked possible excess.
Domain index scores last updated October 2025 are 0-100 composites benchmarked against U.S. communities. Polco's dashboard warns that the National Community Survey has not been conducted here, so resident sentiment is not reflected; the scores use public statistics only. Among scores that match on both the overview chart and the detail panels, Natural Environment is lowest at 35. Safety is 53, Health and Wellness 56, Community Connection 53 and Utilities 71.
Dashboard indicators include a FEMA National Risk Index of 91.28 of 100, tied to the low Natural Environment score; violent crime of 210.05 and property crime of 1,561.78 per 100,000 residents; unemployment of 3.7%; food insecurity of 13.9%; and a high school graduation rate of 85.22%. Demographics updated January 2024 put the population at 300,047.
Polco's Snapshot combines GPAL public performance data with National Community Survey importance ratings; without a local survey, importance uses national averages. The indexes are modeled measures, not a Cleveland County resident survey. No comment from county officials is included.
