Crozet crafts festival, Morgan Wade and Irish dance lead Oct. 9-11 weekend events

CHARLOTTESVILLE - The fall Crozet Arts and Crafts Festival brings more than 130 artists and exhibitors to Claudius Crozet Park on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 10-11, according to the festival's website. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days; single-day adult tickets are $7.75 in advance or $8 at the gate, and children 12 and under are free.

Friday: Harpist Máire Ní Chathasaigh and guitarist Chris Newman play Thistlerock Mead Company from 6 to 8 p.m. in a Blue Ridge Irish Music School and WTJU concert ($30 general admission). Four County Players opens "Night of the Living Dead LIVE," a comedy for ages 18 and up based on George A. Romero's film, at 8 p.m. in Barboursville; it runs through Nov. 1.

Saturday: Morgan Wade and SUSTO play the Jefferson Theater at 8 p.m. The Paramount Theater screens "Pan's Labyrinth" (R) at 7:30 p.m. for the film's 20th anniversary.

Sunday: The touring Irish music and dance show "A Taste of Ireland" plays the Paramount at 4 p.m.
