Savoy takes bids through Nov. 10 for Public Works Building B flooring project

SAVOY - The Village of Savoy is taking sealed bids until 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, for a flooring project at Public Works Building B, 611 N. Dunlap Ave., according to the village's notice for bids, RFP 2026-004.

Architectural Expressions LLP (AEX), a Champaign architecture firm, is receiving the bids. They are due at the village office at the same address, where they will be opened and read aloud at the deadline. The notice asks for a single stipulated-sum bid covering all of the work, requires no bid security and says contractors must pay Illinois prevailing wages.

Contractors who want to bid must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, at Building B. Digital bid documents may be requested from AEX starting Friday, Oct. 23. Bids must stay valid for 30 days, and the village may reject any or all of them.

The notice does not give a budget or cost estimate for the project.
