Country Club eastbound bus detour scheduled to end today; five other MTD construction closures remain

URBANA - Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District lists the eastbound Country Club Road closure between Willow and Cunningham as lasting Oct. 12 through Oct. 16, according to the district's reroutes page checked Friday morning. Gold and Ruby buses have been detouring for the construction work. Whether the lane reopens on that schedule, and when those routes return to regular routing, is unconfirmed on the page.

Five other construction closures remain on the same list. Broadway is closed between University and Water through Nov. 30 for Orange, Grey, Gold and Ruby. Paula Drive is closed between Jeanne Street and Powers Lane through Nov. 1 for Lavender. Perkins Road is closed between Cunningham and Carroll through Dec. 1 for Gold and Ruby. Mattis Avenue is closed between Windsor and Curtis roads through Dec. 31 for Brown and Navy. Washington Street is closed between Walnut and Neil through Nov. 1 for Red.
