Champaign County jail holds 218 in Sunday report
The sheriff's office logged 15 arrests, 12 bookings and six releases on Oct. 31.
CHAMPAIGN - The Champaign County jail population stood at 218 on Sunday, Nov. 1, according to the sheriff's office Division of Corrections daily report.
Of those, 198 were held at the satellite jail and 20 were out of the facility, the report shows. Most of those in custody, 122, were listed as felony pretrial, and 20 were on electronic home detention. For Saturday, Oct. 31, the office recorded 15 arrests, 12 bookings and six releases. Five of the releases were on a notice to appear and one was listed as served sentence. The report lists 11 court appointments for Sunday.
