Willard Airport unveils new brand tied to the University of Illinois
A new entrance sign on Route 45 gives the first look at the airport's first new graphic identity in more than a decade.
SAVOY - University of Illinois-Willard Airport has put up a new entrance sign along Route 45, South Neil Street, offering the first look at the airport's new brand, the airport announced Oct. 6.
It is the first change to the airport's graphic look in more than a decade, and the University of Illinois helped create it. The new brand ties the airport to the university's identity and visual language, according to the announcement.
The goal is not to make the airport exclusively about the university, the airport said, but to make that relationship a central part of its identity and competitive advantage.
