East Windsor zoning panel receives 180-unit North Road plan, continues town plan hearing
Abbe Road zone change also received; both to be heard at a future meeting
EAST WINDSOR - East Windsor's Planning and Zoning Commission received an application Oct. 13 from North Winkler EW, LLC for a special use permit for a mixed-use development with a 180-unit residential building and a 7,000-square-foot medical office building at 120 North Road, according to the commission's draft minutes.
The commission also received a property owner's request to rezone land on Abbe Road from M-1 and A-1 to MFDD. The minutes say both applications will be heard at a future meeting.
Commissioners voted to continue the public hearing on the proposed 2026-2036 Plan of Conservation and Development to their Oct. 27 meeting. Two commissioners were absent, and an alternate sat as a voting member.
A site plan for two 9,360-square-foot buildings for used-car sales and repairs at 138 South Main St. was tabled at the applicant's request, and approval of the Sept. 22 minutes was postponed because too few commissioners were present to vote on them.
