Google's Gemini can now rework an entire slide deck from one request
Paying users can restyle or update every slide at once. Business plans that include it start at $14 per user a month, and personal plans at $19.99 a month.
Google said Oct. 30 that its Gemini AI can now change a whole Google Slides presentation from a single request. The Mountain View company said users can update content across a deck or change fonts, colors and backgrounds on every slide at once.
Users type a request in the Gemini side panel, such as updating facts across the deck or making it match the look of another presentation, Google said. The feature works only in English at first.
It is available to paying customers on Google Workspace Business Standard and Plus, Enterprise Standard and Plus, Google AI Pro and Ultra, and Google AI Pro for Education, the company said. The rollout started Oct. 29 and may take more than 15 days to reach everyone.
Google's price list shows Workspace Business Standard costs $14 per user per month and Business Plus costs $22 per user per month, billed monthly. Google does not post prices for its Enterprise plans. For individuals, Google AI Pro costs $19.99 a month, and Google AI Ultra starts at $99.99 a month. Google did not list a price for Google AI Pro for Education.
Google said users will get higher usage limits as a promotion through at least Dec. 1.
