Anthropic renames its $200-a-month Claude plan Ultra and adds $200 in monthly developer credits
The $200-a-month plan replaces Max 20x, and current subscribers move over automatically at the same price.
Anthropic has renamed its most expensive personal Claude subscription, according to a help page the company updated Oct. 30. The $200-a-month plan once called Max 20x is now called Ultra, and current subscribers move over automatically with no price change.
Ultra gives 10 times the weekly use of the $20-a-month Pro plan, Anthropic said. People with verified accounts also skip the five-hour limit, a cap that pauses heavy users for a few hours, and stay within a weekly limit instead.
The plan includes $200 a month in credits for the Claude API, the paid service programmers use to build Claude into their own apps. That is up from $100 on Max, the company said.
Anthropic's pricing page still lists Max at $100 a month with five times Pro's usage. Ultra is sold month to month only, and prices in mobile apps may differ.
