SJSU men can clinch Mountain West tournament spot against Grand Canyon tonight
The women host UC Davis at 4 p.m.; the men play first-place Grand Canyon at 7 p.m. at the Spartan Soccer Complex.
San Jose State plays two home soccer games Wednesday at the Spartan Soccer Complex, according to the university's athletics schedules. The women host UC Davis at 4 p.m., and the men host Grand Canyon at 7 p.m.
The men (6-6-3, 3-2-2 Mountain West) will clinch a spot in the Mountain West Tournament with a win, or if Utah Tech and UC Davis both lose, the team's game preview says. The Spartans are unbeaten in their last four games, ending with a 1-1 tie at Air Force on Oct. 24.
Grand Canyon (9-5-1, 6-0-1) leads the conference and has already clinched a tournament spot. It beat San Jose State 2-1 on Oct. 4 in Phoenix.
The women (2-11-2, 1-7 Mountain West) have lost five straight. UC Davis is 5-9-2 and 3-4 in conference play, its schedule shows. The Spartan women close the regular season at home Sunday, Nov. 1, at noon against Nevada.
Both games stream on MW+. Tickets are required; SJSU's athletics pages do not list a price, so check the official SJSU ticket page.
