San José City College and work2future will hold a free career fair on Thursday, Nov. 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the college's Event Center, 2100 Moorpark Ave., according to the college's job center and the event listing. Recruiters will be on site, and job seekers of all ages and experience levels are welcome.
work2future is a network of federally funded job centers that serves mainly San Jose, plus several nearby cities and unincorporated Santa Clara County, according to its website. It helps people prepare for jobs and helps employers hire. The college says it partners with work2future on a career fair twice a year.
There is no cost to attend. Organizers ask attendees to register on Eventbrite and to bring a résumé. Parking on campus is free. People who need language or accessibility help should email work2future@sanjoseca.gov at least 72 hours before the fair.
Employers that want a table can fill out an interest form on the college's Job Development Center page.
