GTA VI pre-load starts Nov. 10 ahead of Nov. 19 launch
Rockstar and PlayStation say pre-orders can download before the Nov. 19 PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S release; PS5 needs about 212GB free.
SAN JOSE — Grand Theft Auto VI pre-load begins Nov. 10, ahead of a Nov. 19 launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, according to Rockstar Games’ newswire and PlayStation’s official pages.
Rockstar’s Nov. 10 pre-load notice says the game arrives on those consoles Nov. 19 and that players can still pre-order. PlayStation’s blog and product page say PlayStation Store pre-orders can begin downloading at local midnight on Nov. 10 and should clear a minimum of 212GB on a PS5 before launch day.
PlayStation lists the title as a single-player game for PS5 only among PlayStation consoles, not PlayStation 4. The company also points players to Ultimate Edition pre-order contents on the PlayStation Store product page.
