Agility Robotics, which makes a human-shaped robot called Digit, expects to raise about $465 million as it goes public, the company and Churchill Capital Corp XI said Oct. 30.  Agility is based in Salem, Oregon, with offices in Fremont and Pittsburgh.

Churchill XI is a blank check company, a publicly traded shell set up to merge with a private business.  If its shareholders approve on Nov. 2, the deal is expected to close Nov. 4, with Agility stock trading on Nasdaq as AGLT from Nov. 5.

The money includes about $164 million left in Churchill XI's account, about $201 million from investors led by Foxconn, the Taiwanese electronics maker, buying shares at $10 each, and $100 million Agility already received.

The companies said Agility has more than $300 million in multi-year orders for Digit 5, its newest robot, though that is not current revenue.  Deliveries to early customers are planned for the first half of 2027.
