Orem stake's open personal finance class meets again Nov. 1

OREM - The Orem Utah Stonewood Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints holds its Self Reliance personal finance class on Sunday, Nov. 1, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the stake center, 450 S. 100 West, according to the stake's event page.

The six-week class began Oct. 11 and meets Sundays in rooms 107, 108 and 109, the page says. It follows the church's self-reliance curriculum and covers budgeting, getting out of debt and long-term financial stability. The page says the class is open to anyone who wants to improve their financial skills.

The stake also lists a missionary preparation course for youth and young single adults from 3 to 4:15 p.m. the same day at the same address.
