Night utility work on 1600 North between 1200 West and 650 West runs through Oct. 30
OREM - Crews are doing utility work overnight on 1600 North between 1200 West and 650 West through Friday, Oct. 30, according to the Utah Department of Transportation's project page.
Work runs from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night. UDOT says nearby residents should expect construction noise and vibration and construction vehicles entering and leaving the work zone. Parking is not allowed along 1600 North within the work zone.
The night work is part of UDOT's 1600 North improvement project in Lindon and Orem, which began construction March 25 and is scheduled to run through late fall 2027. The agency says schedules can change. Questions go to the project hotline at 801-406-7707 or 1600North@utah.gov.
