Elkhorn North plays for Class A volleyball title today

OMAHA — Elkhorn North plays Papillion-La Vista South for the Class A state volleyball championship at 5 p.m. today at the Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, according to the NSAA schedule and Friday's official box scores.

Elkhorn North beat Lincoln North Star in five sets Friday at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Papillion-La Vista South beat Omaha Marian in four sets, 23-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-15, the Class A Friday box scores show.

In Class C1, Aurora faces Milford at 1 p.m. at Devaney. Both won Friday semifinals. Concordia Omaha's season ended Friday with a four-set loss to Milford, 23-25, 25-16, 19-25, 19-25.

Championship Saturday at Devaney also lists Class D1 at 9 a.m., Class D2 at 11 a.m., Class C2 at 3 p.m. and Class B at 7 p.m. Third-place matches are at Lincoln Northwest on the same slate. Admission is $12 for adults and $9 for students. All times are Central; the schedule is subject to change.
