In-person early voting for Nov. 3 election ends Monday at 5 p.m.; drop boxes open until polls close
OMAHA - Douglas County voters have until 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, to cast an early ballot in person at the Election Commission, 12220 W. Center Road, according to the commission's election deadlines page.
The office is open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, the commission lists. All in-person early voting takes place at that office.
The deadline to ask for a ballot by mail passed at 6 p.m. Oct. 23, the commission says. Voters who already have a ballot can return it to the commission or to any of its 13 drop boxes, which are open around the clock, need no postage and accept ballots until 8 p.m. on Election Day. Drop box locations include the City/County Building at 1819 Farnam St., South Omaha Library at 2808 Q St. and Charles B. Washington Branch Library at 2868 Ames Ave.; the full list is on the commission's early voting page.
Polls are open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3. Voters can track a mailed ballot with the commission's online status check.
