Belmont volleyball hosts Murray State Thursday, visits Illinois State Oct. 25
The Bruins (10-9, 7-1 MVC) sit second in the Missouri Valley Conference behind UNI.
NASHVILLE - Belmont's volleyball team (10-9, 7-1 Missouri Valley Conference) hosts Murray State at 6 p.m. CT Thursday, Oct. 22, at the Curb Event Center, then plays at Illinois State at 1 p.m. CT on Oct. 25, according to a Belmont Athletics release.
The Bruins are second in the MVC behind UNI after road wins at Murray State and Evansville, and have five conference sweeps, the release says.
Murray State is 3-17 and 1-7 in league play. Belmont leads the series 8-3 and swept the Racers on Oct. 15 in Murray. Illinois State is 15-4 and 6-2 in the MVC.
Senior Brenna Kauffeld leads Belmont with 208 kills, libero Mya Bolton has 294 digs, and Erin McMullen leads the MVC with a.400 hitting percentage, according to the release.
