Vanderbilt men's basketball hosts UAB in Monday exhibition at Memorial Gymnasium
The 6 p.m. game is the Commodores' only home exhibition and their first game of the season at Memorial Gymnasium.
NASHVILLE - Vanderbilt men's basketball hosts UAB in an exhibition at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, at Memorial Gymnasium, according to the school's official game release. It is the Commodores' only home exhibition this season and is open to the public, with tickets starting at $15. The release says the game can be seen only in person; the team schedule lists a radio broadcast on 94.9 The Fan and no TV or stream.
The game is Vanderbilt's second exhibition. The Commodores beat Virginia in an outdoor game in Charleston, South Carolina, in September, the release says.
Tyler Tanner, who averaged 19.5 points, 5.1 assists and 2.4 steals per game last season, was named to the media's preseason first-team All-SEC. Vanderbilt's roster has seven freshmen and four sophomores, the release says.
