NASHVILLE - The Tennessee Titans activated cornerback Joshua Williams from injured reserve on Saturday, making him eligible for Sunday's game at Indianapolis, according to the team's official announcement. The Titans also waived defensive back Erick Hallett.
Williams was placed on injured reserve Aug. 31 with a pectoral injury and has practiced for the past two weeks after the team opened his three-week practice window earlier this month, the release says. He signed with Tennessee in March after four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs.
In 65 career NFL games, including 12 starts, Williams has 86 tackles, 18 passes defensed, a sack and an interception, according to the team.
The Titans also named defensive lineman Timmy Horne and safety Isaiah Oliver as gameday elevations for Sunday. Tennessee plays the Colts at noon Sunday in Indianapolis.
